How It Works

From application to verified member

Every physician on the network goes through the same path: a short application, automatic verification against federal registries, and a clear decision — usually instant. Here is exactly what happens at each step.

Step 1: Apply on the product page that fits your practice

Start with the platform that matches how you practice. PrimeSkin.AI is open to dermatology, medical aesthetics, IV infusion therapy, and regenerative medicine. SecondOpinionMedical.AI is open to board-certified physicians in every specialty.

The application takes a few minutes: your name, contact details, practice address, NPI number, and specialty. Joining the waitlist is free and non-binding — you are not committing to case volume, a schedule, or any fee by applying.

Step 2: Automatic verification, before anything is saved

The moment you submit, our servers run every check — not the browser, and not a human reading a spreadsheet later. Nothing is stored until your application passes.

NPPES NPI verification

Your NPI is checked live against NPPES, the federal National Plan and Provider Enumeration System — the registry of every U.S. healthcare provider.

OIG LEIE screening

Your application is screened against the OIG List of Excluded Individuals/Entities — the federal register of providers excluded from federally funded healthcare programs.

Identity cross-checks

The name and practice state you submit are compared with what NPPES has on file for your NPI, so a number can't simply be borrowed.

Step 3: Instant acceptance — or a short human review

An application that is clean on every check is accepted immediately. You see the result on screen the moment you submit.

If a check raises an ambiguous signal — for example, a name or state that doesn't match the NPPES record — your application isn't rejected. It goes to a short manual review instead, because signals like these deserve human judgment, not an algorithm. You receive an email with a follow-up step: a plain-language attestation and an optional state medical license number. A reviewer then resolves the case, and you can check where it stands any time on the application status page using your application number.

Applications under review are never mixed in with verified members, and if an application is declined, its data is deleted rather than retained.

Step 4: Founding-network onboarding

Verified physicians join the founding cohort for their platform. Commercial terms are shared in writing during onboarding, before anything goes live, and founding members onboard first — so your profile is live from the first day of patient traffic in your area.

Verification doesn't stop at the door: the accepted network is automatically re-screened against a refreshed OIG exclusions snapshot every month.
